Borderlands
Geyser, Montana - The borderlands are a balance. Nothing is flat, but the mountains are still in the distance. These rolling plains and gullies are a place where we can step into the wilderness, but return safely to civilization. We stay in yurts, not tents or hotels. We hunt daily, but not overnight. It is a good balance, it is a place we all need to visit more often. When our borders close up, so do we. When our edges are too wide open, we drift off too far. In the borderlands, we have help to keep the balance. There are guides, dogs, and a flurry of racing wings. It’s good to be on the edge.
