Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long will it take receive my fine art photography?

A: Kendrick is often in the field for extended periods of time with little to no service to receive emails, phone calls, or messages. Please expect fine art pieces to ship within six weeks. If you are in need of a rush order, please place your order on the website and follow up with an email to kendrick@dkendrickc.com to confirm the best shipping option.

Q: What kind of outings does Kendrick cover in the field?

A: Kendrick has covered a variety of wilderness recreation, including mountain hunting, wilderness fly fishing, saltwater fishing, and bird hunting. Kendrick focuses on the story of your outing and uses his years in the field to reveal images that vary in scope, subject, and story. Although he uses the most advanced digital cameras, he also believes that creating a tactile take-away such as a photo book or custom wall art is the most impactful way to care for memories and relive incredible experiences afield. Examples of expeditions include clients on their hunt or fishing trip of a lifetime, small groups who share the cost of his services, and businesses providing entertainment for their customers or employees in the field. If you are not sure whether Kendrick would photograph your outing, please inquire via email or phone.

Q: How much does it cost to have Kendrick photograph my outing?

A: Each outing is unique in its physical demands, location, travel, lodging, and deliverables. This varying scope makes it difficult to provide an estimate without a conversation or overview from the client. A few costs to consider when booking Kendrick for your expedition are travel and lodging, non-hunter/angler fee, creative fee, duration, and deliverables. Kendrick’s work continues well beyond the outing, as he reviews and edits photos and designs photo books specific to the experience.

Q: What if I want a fine art photograph in a different size?

A: Sizes are fixed by the artist to best reflect the image. On rare occasions, some images may be resized for a specific client or use. Kendrick retains the final say in the available sizes for each image as they all tend toward a certain size that retains the clarity, quality, and overall impact of the scene.
